No. Contestio is a cloud-based web platform. You and your participants can access it from any modern web browser. We handle deployment and hosting as part of the setup.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). The platform is GDPR compliant and hosted within EU-based infrastructure. Automated daily backups are included.
Yes. You can import participants and evaluation criteria via Excel/CSV files. The platform also supports bulk exports of scores and results for reporting.
Contestio has a 6-role access system: Super Admin (full control), Admin (content & application management), Judge (evaluation phase), Observer Judge (read-only evaluation), Jury (scoring phase), and Contestant (application submission and tracking).

Yes. You can create unlimited user accounts and assign them specific roles. Judges and jury members only see what they are authorized to see — their assigned applications.
The platform supports both equal-split assignment (each jury member gets a unique set of applications) and shared-pool assignment (all jury members evaluate the same pool). Assignments are managed from the admin panel.

The annual license includes the full competition management system, jury and evaluation portals, automated scoring engine, campaign email tools, certificate generation, backup systems, and direct support from the Talivio team.
No. The annual license covers unlimited applications, unlimited judges, and unlimited jury members. There are no hidden per-seat or per-submission charges.
You will be notified in advance of expiry. The platform remains active until the end of the license period. Renewal pricing is the same as the initial license.
The platform supports a 4-phase workflow: (1) Application submission, (2) System pre-screening with automated scoring, (3) Judge evaluation phase where judges review and filter candidates, (4) Jury scoring phase with weighted score calculation, and final results publication.
Yes. Applicants can upload CVs, transcripts, portfolios, project files, and video links. File types and size limits are configurable per contest.
The system calculates a combined score using: system pre-score (based on configurable criteria like GPA or school bonuses) + Category 1 jury scores (weighted average from assigned jury) + Category 2 jury scores (weighted average from shared-pool jury). All weights are configurable.
Yes. The integrated campaign system lets you compose, schedule, and send targeted emails to applicants filtered by stage, score, or status. Supported providers: SMTP, Amazon SES, and Mailgun.
